You don’t have to be interested in golf to enjoy 13th Beach Golf Links

A celebrated course both outside on the green and inside the restaurant.

When it comes to 13th Beach Golf Links, there are a few obvious focuses – the immaculate green, and the luxury accommodation. This site is known as a coastal golfing escape with distinction. It houses two championship 18-hole courses (the links-style Beach and the undulating Creek, designed with input from Sir Nick Faldo) and a 9-hole short course. It’s the reason the site is home to the Vic Open, an annual tournament where men and women compete on equal terms, as part of the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia and WPGA Tour of Australasia.

Drawing golfers and visitors from across the country, the Club’s interior facilities are just as grand. The Club offers luxury lodges, stay-and-play packages, and full clubhouse amenities. But the lesser known star to 13th Beach Golf Links is the site’s restaurant.

13th Beach Restaurant Barwon Heads is a stunning dining spot overlooking the greens. Decked out with light natural furnishings – timber dining tables, rattan chairs, and brown leather upholstered benches, 13th Beach Restaurant Barwon Heads is a beautiful blend of relaxed and refined dining. There’s also an al fresco dining option if you would like to feel closer to the recreational side of the site.

13th Beach Restaurant is open to all guests, not just golf bookings and memberships, open for casual meals, breakfast, lunch, snacks and bar options daily, and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm – 8.30pm.

The menus take you on a journey as the day moves from sunrise to sunset. In breakfast, you have a list of classics including sourdough, granola, a breakfast burger, and eggs in a variety of ways. Lunch keeps things simple with a defined menu that takes you from soup of the day to roasted Moroccan cauliflower salad, chicken BRAT, steak, 13th beach burger, and a Panko crumbed chicken parmigiana. Dinner takes things into fine territory. There’s starters of Saganaki, Salt & Pepper Squid, Jamon Serrano, and Turkish bread. While the mains lead in with roasted baby beets, spinach, feta Baked in filo pastry, moving to grilled humpty doo barramundi, and Egyptian spiced chicken breast and 300g Bass Strait Scotch Fillet.

13th Beach Restaurant is another hole in one for the 13th Beach Golf Links facility.
