System of a Down slam into stadiums for Australian tour with Faith No More

Two genre-defining bands. Three massive stadium shows. One unmissable celebration of heavy music’s most influential eras.

Two of rock’s most influential heavyweights are joining forces for a landmark Australian run, with System of a Down set to return for their first headline tour Down Under in more than a decade, bringing along legendary genre-shifters Faith No More for what’s shaping up to be one of the biggest stadium events on the calendar.

The stadium takeover kicks off at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Friday 22 January, before rolling into Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Wednesday 27 January and wrapping up at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Monday 1 February.

Fresh off the back of a huge EU/UK Summer Stadium Tour, which saw back-to-back sell-outs across Paris, London and Warsaw, the GRAMMY Award-winning icons will make their long-awaited return to Australia in January 2027. The tour will celebrate the legacy of two uncompromising bands who have continued to redefine what heavy music can be.

Australian fans can expect a career-spanning set packed with the anthems that have soundtracked generations of rock and metal fans, from crushing riffs to instantly recognisable choruses.

Joining them are Faith No More, the fearless pioneers whose boundary-pushing mix of alternative rock, metal, funk, punk and experimental sounds changed the course of heavy music forever. Tickets go on sale to the general public from Friday 31 July 2026 at 10am AEST (Sydney), 11am (Melbourne), and 12pm (Brisbane). PayPal First Access Presale begins Wednesday 29 July via the official Ticketek site, with the Artist Presale launching Tuesday 28 July for fans signed up to the SYSTEM OF A DOWN and FAITH NO MORE mailing lists.
