Hosted by Neighbourhood Events Co, the Urban Cocktail Trail is designed for everyone from seasoned cocktail enthusiasts to those simply looking for a fun afternoon with friends. With no set route or schedule, participants can explore at their own pace — choosing where to stop, sip and soak up the atmosphere.
The experience begins with a complimentary $10 food voucher at each participant’s chosen starting venue before trail-goers set off with cocktail vouchers in hand, ready to uncover a handpicked selection of Geelong’s finest drinks.
This year’s cocktail lineup promises plenty of creativity, with local venues crafting unique flavours for trail participants to enjoy. Highlights include the Rosemary Rhubi Smash at 18th Amendment Bar, blending Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Rhubi Mistelle, Aperol and lemon; Astray Bar’s tropical Orange Purfection featuring vodka, bitter orange liqueur, mango and peach; and Black Sheep’s indulgent Pavlova Sour, inspired by the classic Australian dessert.
Other standout creations include Eureka Hotel’s rich Espresso Martini, Non Disclosure Bar’s refreshing Velvet Citrus Spritz, and Sailors’ Rest’s vibrant Sailors’ Spritz, combining gin, elderflower, strawberry, passionfruit and lime.
With tickets available from $65, guests can choose their own adventure with packages ranging from three to six cocktails, each including the $10 food voucher. Event vouchers and guides will be available for collection on the day between 12pm and 2pm at the registration location, with the cocktail trail running from 1pm until 5pm.
The trail’s flexible format makes it the perfect way to spend an afternoon exploring Geelong’s hospitality scene, catching up with friends and discovering new favourite venues along the way.
Tickets are expected to sell quickly, so cocktail fans are encouraged to secure their spot and prepare for an afternoon filled with flavour, fun and unforgettable drinks.
