Matt Joe Gow came to our attention through The Dead Leaves before releasing his debut solo album, The Messenger, in 2009. He released his second album, Seven Years, in 2016, named after time served between albums. It contains songs from “foot stomping rock’n’roll numbers and heartfelt Americana belters through to harmony-laden shimmering alt-country and spacious ballads”.
Pistol Pete’s, Geelong – August 31.
