Nominate a Young Person Making a Difference in Geelong

The awards are back for 2026, ready to recognise the outstanding young people in the region.

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Geelong Youth Awards, recognising young people aged 12 to 25 who are making a difference across the region. Whether through leadership, cultural advocacy, creativity, sport, or community work, the awards acknowledge young people who are shaping the future of Geelong.

Presented by the City of Greater Geelong, the Youth Awards are a cornerstone event in the region’s youth calendar.

They’re designed to recognise the impact, passion and drive of young people who live, work, learn or play in Greater Geelong.

Nominations are open until Friday 14 August 2026 and the awards ceremony will be held on Friday 11 September 2026 as part of Victoria’s Youth Fest, a month-long statewide celebration of young people and their contributions to communities across the state.
