Suzi Quatro Roars Back to Australia with Rock Royalty Set to Ignite Torquay Common

The queen of rock ‘n’ roll is coming full throttle to the Surf Coast.

Australian music fans are in for a summer spectacular when legendary rocker Suzi Quatro returns later this year, bringing her unmistakable bass lines, powerhouse vocals and decades of rock history to stages across the country, including a major outdoor headline performance at Torquay Common on Sunday, November 29, 2026.

As part of the celebrated Red Hot Summer Tour, the Torquay event will turn the coastal town into a rock ‘n’ roll celebration, with Suzi Quatro leading an incredible line-up featuring some of Australia’s most iconic acts: Jon Stevens, Baby Animals, Rose Tattoo, Dragon and Choirboys.

The 2026 tour will see Suzi Quatro perform a series of indoor and outdoor concerts across Australia, giving fans nationwide the chance to experience one of rock’s most influential performers live.

The tour kicks off on Saturday 14 November at the Coliseum Theatre, Rooty Hill, NSW, followed by a special performance at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday 15 November. Suzi will then head to Tasmania for a show at the Wrest Point Entertainment Centre, Hobart, on Wednesday 18 November, before travelling north for a performance at The Star Gold Coast on Friday 20 November.

Victorian fans will have two opportunities to see the rock icon, with Suzi performing at the Palais Theatre, Melbourne, on Wednesday 2 December, before heading west for a final indoor show at Fremantle Prison, Fremantle, WA, on Sunday 6 December.

The outdoor Red Hot Summer Tour will deliver a huge celebration of Australian rock, with Suzi Quatro headlining alongside a powerhouse line-up of local legends. The series begins at Roma Street Parkland, Brisbane, on Sunday 22 November, and continues at Speers Point Park, Lake Macquarie, NSW, on Saturday 28 November, with Suzi joined by Jon Stevens, Baby Animals, Rose Tattoo, Dragon and Choirboys. Then comes the highly anticipated Torquay Common event on Sunday 29 November, bringing the full rock experience to the Surf Coast with Suzi Quatro, Jon Stevens, Baby Animals, Rose Tattoo, Dragon and Choirboys. The spectacular coastal setting is expected to make this one of the standout live music events of the Victorian summer. The Red Hot Summer Tour concludes at Seppeltsfield Wines, Barossa Valley, SA, on Saturday 5 December, with Suzi Quatro joined by Baby Animals, Screaming Jets and Rose Tattoo.

Suzi Quatro’s return celebrates a career that changed the face of rock music forever. The Detroit-born trailblazer broke new ground in the 1970s with her signature leather-clad style, commanding stage presence and unmistakable sound, inspiring generations of musicians around the world.

Her worldwide breakthrough came in 1973 with the chart-topping hit ‘Can the Can’, followed by enduring classics including ’48 Crash’, ‘Devil Gate Drive’ and the international favourite ‘Stumblin’ In’. With more than 55 million records sold globally, Quatro’s influence and legacy remain as powerful as ever.

Beyond music, Quatro has enjoyed a remarkable career as an actress, author and broadcaster. She appeared in the cult television series Happy Days, performed in London’s West End production of Annie Get Your Gun, hosted radio programs for the BBC, and featured in the acclaimed documentary Suzi Q. Her latest studio album, Freedom, released in 2026, proves that her creative fire is still burning brightly.

Rock fans across Victoria are encouraged to get in early. Suzi Quatro is bringing the thunder, and Torquay is set to be the place to experience one of the biggest rock events of the summer.
