The historic Valley Worsted Mills of South Geelong has been out of hibernation all winter, hosting a multitude of markets and events. Between the beer halls, the bricked buildings and laneways made way for vintage clothing haven, Second Life Market, the furry festival of Geelong Dog Lovers Market, artisan institution Piccadilly Market and the venues own slice of winter activities, where crafts, science installations, twilight markets, live music and comfort food collide, with Winter Wonderland. Boasting a winter warmers menu in their revitalised The Little Creatures Canteen area featuring chilli mussels, spicy diavolo pizza, slow-cooked chilli con carne, s’mores cookie pie and hot mulled ciders and spiced hot chocolates,

For Tastes of Greater Geelong, Creatures upped the ante running a four course chefs menu showing off their culinary creations built around their craft brew. Little Creatures continued to win over the Geelong crowds during the chill. Within walking distance to GMHBA stadium, football fans flocked to Creatures for pre and post game fills while their new Canteen castle playground kept the kids entertained.
But as crisp cold beer lovers, it’s the spring and summer season that has us itching to get back to the craft beer institution. A Juicy XPA, a Hazy IPA, a Hazy Lager, a Roger’s Amber Ale, a ginger beer, a Pipsqueak Cider, a Pale Ale, a White Rabbit Dark Ale, and a flagship favourite Furphy, the Little Creatures froth range is unparalleled for thirst-quenching. In addition, as the sun shines down and the umbrellas line the Canteen corridor, there is no better place to be. Not to mention the host of activities on offer. Weekly trivia nights run twice a week with some generous prizes, the SHUFFL table locks in the big kids and the live music makes Little Creatures a destination.

That’s not to mention the functions and events that happen inside the halls of the brewery. A picturesque events venue, both Furphy Hall and The White Rabbit Barrel Hall light up during the warmer months. With wedding season in full swing and end of year parties locked in, Little Creatures is bubbling with bodies.
As Geelong Ceramics Market kicks off the calendar of events in the space, Little Creatures is sure to be swimming with activity over the warmer months.
Be sure to keep up to date with what’s on at Little Creatures as we approach September and the spring season here. Drop in for a visit or book a function now.
