The Dome Dining experience on Geelong waterfront is in its final week

The Novotel's resident restaurant Tempo Kitchen & Bar will be saying goodbye to its temporary outdoor setting.

Modern Australian cuisine creators, Tempo Kitchen & Bar are moving on from their winter menu this week. Accompanying the menu, the waterfront restaurant nestled into luxury hotel chain, The Novotel, overlooking Corio Bay, built a dining destination for locals and visitors to embrace the off-peak period.

Introducing their Dome Dining experience at the top of winter, the see-through snow-globe like structure made use of their alfresco dining area during the cold period. It’s now in its final week, the domes will disappear to see the return of Tempo Kitchen & Bar’s open air, sun soaked dining area.

Dome Dining became a winter wonderland at Tempo Kitchen & Bar throughout the wet season. The two private heated domes accommodate from two to six guests, with multiple packages available for all kinds of dining events. From long lunches to celebrations, or a cute date night, the diversity of the Dome has been unparallel.

Opt for a Tempo in the Dome Feed Me package for $82pp, where you will be treated to a chef’s selection of their Victorian local produce and flavour rich menu. Or embrace the waterfront location by indulging with Seafood Under The Stars at $140pp. Think lobster, oysters, scallops and the juiciest king prawns.

If you’re feeling a little sweet, add on a Chocolate Fondue to your package for $22.50pp, or for the savoury saluters, the Cheese Fondue is a winner at $33.50pp. As this weather warms up and the school holidays take full swing, the Tempo Bottomless drinks for $59pp is a Dome deal that is too good to be true!

The exciting addition wraps up the same week as their two year celebrations. Across September, the restaurant celebrated their birthday milestone with a number of fun giveaways and specials. They curated a feature cocktail for the occasion made up of Baileys, crème de cacao and butterscotch schnapps, decorated with a brownie and a birthday candle, offered free chocolate fondue for the Dome Dining experience for Monday to Thursday bookings, and had a Spin To Win giveaway when you order any drink. The QR code competition gives you the chance to win a 15% discount, two tickets to their Christmas Buffet Breakfast or Lunch, two cocktails, a free signature cocktail, a free starter and more. These offers are still up for grabs until Friday 26 September.
