The tranquillity of the Geelong Botanic Gardens is only elevated by a quiet cup of coffee, a crisp and cloudy croissant, or a subtle white wine and that’s where WYM comes in. A cosy spot for a morning cuppa, a relaxing lunch location, an afternoon drink destination or simply a stop-in for a quick bite and takeaway tea during your garden stroll, WYM has you covered.
Their menu features ingredients sourced from Geelong and surrounding regions, ensuring local, high-quality flavours in every bite. Divided into three sections; toasties and lunch; coffee and cakes; and cold drinks; their menu keeps things simple. Slide in with their soft sourdough toastie selections including classic combinations cheese and tomato or Istra ham and cheese, or get adventurous with their salami, gherkin and cheese. Fill up with their focaccias, either a seasonal roast vegetable variation or go bold with the Maffra Brie and Istra Bacon. They also have wraps, share options and snacks to curb the hunger.
On the coffee, tea and cake side indulge with a Shanti Soulfood spiced chai latte, grab a Love Tea Matcha, or get a Melbourne special Magic. Housemade hedgehog, lemon slice and choc-mint slice are your rectangular options or go for a danish, a morning bun, banana bread or an indulgent apple rhubarb crumble if you dare!

Keeping their customers happy every Thursday they offer a free kids’ juice with every purchase, and Saturday’s are celebrated with an all day Happy Hour of $9 Shiraz, Chardonnay or Pint of Lager. With their tap on rotation, you’ll be in for a treat from a local brewery each time. They also stock a variety of tinnies, again paying attention to local legends including Mt Pleasant Rd Brewers and Daylesford Cider, while the wine selection sources from Banks Road Winery, Hounds of the Vine, and Alt Road Winery.
WYM is the perfect spot to select for your next meet up with friends or just to find some solo zen.
