360Q has all angles covered on the hospitality front (with views to match!)

From the inventive mind of proprietor Barry Iddles, 360Q has become an icon of the Bellarine

With a four decade career that has seen him cook for a number of namedrops including Michael Jackson, Harry Connick Jr, Carlos Santana, Ben Harper and Jack Johnson, as well as having  made Kylie Minogue’s 30th birthday cake, Iddles knows a thing or two about hospitality. In 2016, the former chef took over the two year vacant building on the breath-taking bay, transforming not only the space, but Queenscliff’s local gastronomy scene.

360Q boasts some of the best views in the region. Propped on the Queenscliff Harbour edge offering unparalleled views of Port Phillip Heads, the two storey venue is not only a dining destination but a prime event space. Downstairs you will find a relaxed dining area and the main restaurant, covering breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Drawing from the local ecosystem of produce, seafood takes centre on the menu as the kitchen leans into a modern Australian ethos with global accents. The thoughtful curation of the menu also sees representation from our fruitful lands, growers and producers. From oysters to kingfish, scallops and snapper across the green for chicken, duck breast and pork cutlets, the a la carte menu is colourful with choice. You can also opt for 2 and 3 course set menus as belly fillers.

You’ll find classics and favourites on the breakfast menu – your smashed avo, eggs benedict, bacon and eggs, big breakfast, and, of course, hotcakes.

Heading upstairs the panoramic views continue with an expansive layout ideal for hosting weddings, celebrations, and events. The fully serviced space allows flexibility and ease of organisation, taking the stress out of weddings. Whether it’s a formal sit-down meal or if you want to opt for a cocktail style affair with canapés circling, 360Q will work within budget and needs. Their wine selection further pays homage to the region with a variety of local labels listed. Adding to the romantic offering, take advantage of the breath-taking 360 degree views of the adjoining observation tower and share a toast as newlyweds with champagne in hand at sunset – stunning!

360Q is a landmark of the Bellarine Peninsula and the perfect stop-in for travellers arriving on the ferry from the Mornington Peninsula.
