The post read, “After many wonderful years, Bistrot Plume will serve its final service on Saturday 28 June 2026. We want to sincerely thank every guest who has dined with us, celebrated milestones with us, shared a bottle of wine, or simply made Bistrot Plume part of their routine.”
It continues that while Bistrot Plume will come to an end, the establishment will continue in another format.
“This is not the end of the venue. Following a short transformation, Bistrot Plume will make way for an exciting new concept that we can’t wait to share with you.”
Within this shift, all Bistrot Plume vouchers will be honoured in the new concept. To help them with a send off, the next four weeks of service will be special celebrations of the Bistrot Plume history and the people that make it up. As such, they encourage everyone to book one last time.
“Over the next four weeks, we’d love to welcome you back to enjoy Bistrot Plume one last time before we close this chapter. Thank you for your support, loyalty, and friendship over the years. Here’s to the next chapter.”
The charming corner spot, as headed by owners Ben McLachlan and Jackson Fort, has had a wonderful innings, recognised for their excellence in service and culinary creations. Most recently in 2025, they were listed in the Age Good Food Guide with a commendable score of 14.5/20. With a menu that takes you into France with plates designed to share over intimate conversation including kingfish, duck terrine, croquettes, and a rotating chefs selection at $80pp, Bistrot Plume set the bar in region. Adding to this is their extensive selection of wines covering local vineyards and international bottles.
Whilst it’s not goodbye to the venue, it is goodbye to Bistrot Plume.
