Running now and closing this Friday at midnight, the competition allows the community to literally leave their mark on the brew.

The winning designer won’t just score bragging rights and the chance for their design to be held in the hands of locals throughout 2026—the prize includes three cartons of the limited-edition lager for each month of summer once the beer is released, valued at $350.

The initiative follows the vibrant November edition of The Coast is Queer at The Deck, which lit up the Geelong waterfront with sets from DJs Killa, Lucia, and Paddy Slack, plus electric drag performances by Amazonia. The monthly event has quickly become a staple celebration of queer identity, connection, and community in the region. The next event is due to hit Geelong in 2026, for some February fun.

The limited-edition beer aims to bottle that same energy—community-driven, proudly local, and unmistakably queer.

Entries close Friday at midnight, so creatives keen to make their mark (and win a summer’s worth of beer) should get in quickly.
