Geelong’s Longest Lunch will return in 2026, offering an afternoon where food, wine, and community converge at one of the city’s most iconic charity events. Set against the picturesque Transvaal Square on Geelong’s Waterfront, this highly anticipated celebration will take place on Friday, 13 March 2026, from 12pm to 4pm. Guests will gather for an extraordinary four-hour experience featuring exceptional food, fine wines, and live entertainment, all in support of Barwon Health.

Simon Toohey, the celebrated MasterChef Australia alum and renowned voice in contemporary food, will take the stage as host and MC for the day. Known for his role as the creative force behind Geelong City Markets, Toohey’s passion for showcasing local produce has helped shape the region’s culinary landscape. His deep ties to the community make him the perfect choice to guide this special event.

The event, presented by Hamo Hospitality, promises an unparalleled dining experience. Guests will enjoy a four-course menu prepared by 11 of the region’s finest chefs, each offering their time and expertise to highlight the best of local produce. With every dish paired with exceptional regional wines, this is a chance to savour the essence of Geelong’s culinary talent, all while contributing to an important cause.

The afternoon will begin with canapés and cocktails, followed by a carefully crafted three-course degustation that showcases the region’s culinary diversity. Live music will complement the celebratory atmosphere, creating a vibrant environment for guests to indulge and connect.

Tickets for the event are priced at $180 per person, which includes the full four-course meal, wine pairings, entertainment, and participation in raffles and auctions.
