Her Majesty’s Ballarat’s final show of 2025 is a showcase of the region’s finest talent

It's been a huge first year back up and running for Her Majesty's Theatre Ballarat - now they close out the year with a special local celebration.

The Ballarat Arts Foundation (BAF) is marking a major milestone with the 25th Anniversary Made in Ballarat Concert, bringing together an all-star lineup of homegrown talent — including celebrated Patron David Hobson, a host of BAF alumni and a stack of local artists who’ve gone on to make waves across the country and around the globe.

Since launching in 2000, BAF has been a powerhouse for emerging creatives in the region, backing artists who’ve lived, worked or studied in Ballarat with grants, mentoring, gigs, exhibition opportunities and hands-on support. If there’s a bright spark rising from Ballarat’s arts scene, chances are BAF has helped fan the flame.

This anniversary showcase is a well-earned celebration of that legacy — a chance to see the faces who’ve grown their careers far beyond the city limits return to the stage where it all began, sharing the spotlight with the next generation coming through.

Set inside the iconic Her Majesty’s Theatre, the Made in Ballarat Concert promises an evening stacked with talent, stories and a whole lot of hometown pride. If you want a snapshot of the vibrant, ever-evolving creative energy shaping Ballarat’s cultural future, this is the night to be there.

It rounds out an exciting year at Her Majesty’s Theatre Ballarat, one that saw world-class entertainment take to the stage for intense theatre works, hilarious standup shows, breath-taking dance and physical performance, inspired music concerts, and community events. With their 2026 Season looking just as dynamic and ambitious, theatre lovers are in for a treat. January and February start the year strong with Amplified: The Exquisite Rock and Rage of Chrissy Amphlett, Digital Echos, Bleak Squad, Xavier Rudd, Danny Bhoy and a season of the globally acclaimed & Juliet.
