As the winner of the 2023 RAW Comedy Award, Henry Yan has catapulted in the last couple of years. His ‘awkward guy’ approach to stand up sees him shift between bachelor life and disappointed Asian parents, to AI, and the quirks of the world.

Yan is joined on the stand-up stage alongside comedian, author, mother and ex-high school teacher, Bron Lewis. Lewis is one of Australia’s most promising new comedians. Another National Raw Competition title holder, as a co-winner for 2022, along with being the four-time champion of the Moth storytelling competition, and the self-proclaimed best and worst mum living at her house, Lewis’ self-deprecating yet deeply relatable stand-up has won over hearts across the country. Her resume also features “writer at The Project” and critically acclaimed comedian for sold-out show Probably.

This is a taste of her talents for our Geelong and Bellarine audiences, with her headline show Chaos coming to Geelong Arts Centre’s Open House on 26 June.

Final Tyson Popplestone pops up for a side splitting set. The comedian, podcaster and storyteller knows his way around a crowd having supported the likes of Arj Barker, Peter Hellier, and Nick Cody. The Melbourne comedian has a growing following thanks to his sharp jokes, honest insights, and viral clips about parenting, teaching, and life’s awkward moments.

The night is held in collaboration with Zero Point Yoga, with food and drink available from 5.30pm and the main comedy content kicking off from 7.30pm. It’s a great way to spend the night and at only $65, it’s good for both the bank and the belly-laughs.

Tickets can be purchased here.
