Fresh from a string of sold-out performances in Sydney, the much-loved live show is now rolling into Melbourne before heading west to Perth, with tickets for the remaining dates disappearing fast. For Aussie families, it’s not just another tour stop — it’s a global celebration landing right on our doorstep.

Since launching in March 2018 in California, Disney Jr. Live On Tour: Let’s Play! has travelled the world, delighting hundreds of thousands of preschoolers and parents across North America, Europe and Asia. This Australian tour marks the production’s first-ever visit Down Under — and its biggest milestone yet.

Designed especially for younger audiences, the show is a high-energy, interactive concert experience, bursting with colour, movement and familiar faces. Expect singing, dancing, dazzling 3D visuals and impressive acrobatics, all wrapped into a joyful story that invites kids to clap, cheer and join in.

In an Australian first, local audiences will meet Ginny and Bitsy from SuperKitties and Team Spidey from Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends, alongside classic Disney favourites including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Ariel the Little Mermaid, and the ever-adorable Puppy Dog Pals.

The story centres on Mickey Mouse as he plans the ultimate Clubhouse playdate — until some mysterious green weather threatens to spoil the fun. Cue Team Spidey swinging into action, saving the day with teamwork, problem-solving and a whole lot of imagination.

Producer Jonathan Shank of Terrapin Station Entertainment says reaching the 500-show mark during the Australian tour is a particularly special moment. “The response from audiences in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney has been phenomenal,” he said. “We’re excited for families in Melbourne and Perth to continue this global celebration.”

For families looking for a first live-theatre experience — or simply an hour of shared joy, music and movement — this one’s a winner. Bright, fast-paced and joyfully inclusive, Disney Jr. Live On Tour: Let’s Play! proves that when it comes to live entertainment, playing together never goes out of style.
