Theatre, Fringe, and Flamenco

Geelong Arts Centre is busting with bold new contemporary works, reimaginations, and traditional takes. April is no different, with their program defined by a dance number laced in desire, a cabaret version of a kid’s classic, and magical moment.

Swamplesque

Two Brothers – Geelong Repertory Theatre Company

The month caps with a major partnership presentation, kicking off a cultural festival in the region.

Celebrate the Opening Night of the 2026 Geelong Pride Film Festival with a welcome reception at 6:30 pm, followed by an inspiring program of uplifting short films at 7:30 pm. Hosted by the fabulous Dolly Diamond, the evening features a diverse collection of stories across the LGBTIQ+ spectrum, including Big Johnny, Boymode, Linger, Butch, Tasty, Bathers, …and they were roommates, and A Beach. From heartfelt reunions and self-discovery to historic events and playful mockumentaries, these films explore identity, love, courage, and community. Join us for an evening of celebration, reflection, and cinematic delight.
