The next Sofar Sounds event, on Saturday 2 May, unfolds at a fresh venue in Brunswick East. The lineup promises a fusion of talent that spans continents and genres: an international act touring from New York City, a Brisbane favourite making a local appearance, and two homegrown artists whose debut Sofar performances sold out in record time. Expect an evening designed for discovery, connection, and pure musical magic.

True to Sofar’s unique formula, the event will take place in a secret venue revealed just 36 hours before showtime, adding a thrilling sense of anticipation. Guests can enjoy a respectful, listening-focused atmosphere where every note, lyric, and beat resonates fully, and the carefully curated lineup—blending pop and RnB—is crafted to surprise, delight, and get the audience moving.

Since its founding in 2009, Sofar Sounds has reimagined live music, taking performances out of traditional venues and into the unexpected—living rooms, warehouses, rooftops, and retail spaces.
