Bigsound Announces 2016 Event

From its humble beginnings as a gathering in a Brisbane pub, to now being the southern hemispheres’ biggest new music festival and industry conference, 2016 will mark the 15th year of Bigsound.

The now three-day and three-night event is renowned for spring boarding musics’ finest up-and-comers, having featured the likes of Rufus, Courtney Barnett, Gang of Youths and Boy & Bear in the past.

The Bigsound that we all know and love will be kicking on this year, however a host of new surprises are also on the drawing board.

New co-programmer Maggie Collins will join the Bigsound team this year, who promises to curate a line up of some of the most respected and burgeoning artists from around the country and abroad. It’s all going down from Wednesday September 7 until Friday September 9. Early bird conference tickets are now available via the Bigsound website.
