Due to overwhelming demand following the one-off, sold-out Hills End anniversary show in Sydney this past March, the band will also play a special Hills End anniversary set to celebrate the 10-year milestone of their debut record. An album pre-order presale will commence on Thursday 30 April at 10.00am local time, running until Friday 1 May, 12.00pm local time.

It’s been a joyous comeback for a treasured band in the Australian music scene, who is as equally loved in the UK. Renowned for their captivating performances which have seen them play the world’s largest stages including Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Splendour in the Grass, this run of shows will see DMA’S bring their upcoming fifth album to life for Australian audiences. The self-titled record will be released on 7 August via Wonderlick Entertainment/Sony Music Australia/RCA UK. Preorder/Presave.

Written and recorded between their own studio in Glebe, Sydney and LA, DMA’S self-titled album represents a defining moment for the band, showcasing the evolution of their signature anthemic sound with fresh sonic textures. It’s highlighted by the band co-producing most of the record with Grammy-nominated producer Lach Bostock (Mansionair), with help from Jimi Somewhere & Styalz Fuego.

The beloved Australian band have shared another taste of the record with their new stadium-ready single ‘Heatin Park’. The official video, filmed across the UK and Melbourne, is available to watch now – view here.

With its MBV-esque lead guitar riff and gritty, distorted vocals Heatin Park is a stark contrast to March’s melodic single My Baby’s Place, which was added to full rotation on triple j and peaked at #1 most played, and is a marker of the breadth of sound this new record covers.

Now in its fifth season, Live at the Gardens has firmly established itself as one of Melbourne’s most loved live music experiences – and this November and December it returns to the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne with another unmissable program, with acclaimed UK rockers Wolf Alice already announced.

A collaboration between MG Live and Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, the series transforms the Observatory Precinct into a magical inner-city venue. Previous seasons have featured standout international acts like Franz Ferdinand, Groove Armada, Leftfield, Todd Terje, Marlon Williams, Róisín Murphy and Lake Street Dive, alongside Australian favourites including The Living End, The Presets, Cut Copy, Bliss N Eso, Thelma Plum, Chet Faker, Matt Corby, Tash Sultana, Xavier Rudd, Mark Seymour, The Cruel Sea, Sarah Blasko, Vika & Linda and more.

Set against the breathtaking beauty of the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne in the heart of the city, DMA’S will headline an unmissable night of music under the stars, with more exciting Live at the Gardens announcements coming soon. Picture the euphoric cries of ‘Delete’ under the summer sky – bliss!
