Love You Madly, Hate You Badly, a sprawling 17-track opus fully written and produced by Tree himself, is a sonic map of the artist’s restless imagination. Traversing alternative pop, electronic, and hip-hop terrains, the album is at once cohesive and unpredictably daring. Previous singles like ‘Superhero’, ‘Joyride’, ‘Flowers’, ‘Deep End’, and ‘All You Ever Wanted’ each reveal a distinct facet of Tree’s genre-blurring artistry, while the album’s current focus, ‘Fuck The Whole World’, has erupted as a standout track—fueled in part by Tree’s viral Coachella performance with Subtronics and accompanied by a performance video brimming with his signature irreverence and kinetic energy.
The album is also a testament to global exploration and creative audacity. Recorded over two years across seven continents and 82 countries—from Africa to China to Afghanistan—Love You Madly, Hate You Badly absorbs the textures, instruments, and cultural influences of a world in motion, crafting a sound that is as adventurous as it is intimately personal.
With a reputation for blending satire, performance art, and music into a singularly magnetic identity, Oliver Tree continues to defy expectation at every turn. His live shows are not simply concerts—they are fully immersive experiences, unpredictable, theatrical, and unmistakably his own, offering audiences a window into the wild, beautiful, and utterly singular world of Oliver Tree.
