Chris Holland is the Music Director and Workday Presenter on Geelong and the Surf Coast’s K rock 95.5. He also hosts a weekly program dedicated to local musicians and gigs in the region. Catch Great Ocean Odes each Wednesday night from 7pm.

Will Gibb – Dreams Are Gone EP

Released: 1 April

Will was one of the winners of Festival of Sails Emerging Artists Stage in 2025. Since then he’s recorded his first single (2025’s Born The Wrong Age) and this April released his debut EP Dreams Are Gone. A charismatic storyteller with a nice folk/americana sound; he has a promising future.

Baraka The Kid – If Tomorrow Neva Comes

Released: 27 February

Fiston Baraka has created what feels like a cinematic experience with this album. Like a late night adventure but really sharing his heart, with deep insights and honesty. Allow yourself to swim in it.

Rose Miller – Hey Darlin’ EP

Released: 15 March

Rose is an exciting performer. Her voice has several gears and she uses them all powerfully on her debut EP, alongside the Rose Miller Band that all work together to make these four songs reach their full potential.
