She's ready to 'rock wit u'!

GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter and actress Ashanti is heading back to Australia and New Zealand this November, returning to local stages with the timeless R&B catalogue that shaped an entire era.

Few artists have defined contemporary R&B quite like Ashanti. Her self-titled 2002 debut album catapulted her to global stardom, debuting at #1 on both the Billboard 200 and R&B charts while becoming the fastest-selling debut album by a female artist in history at the time. More than two decades later, the record still resonates, its influence woven through modern pop and hip-hop culture.

“Australia and New Zealand has always shown me so much love, and I’m so excited to be coming back this coming Fall for my ‘Rock Wit U’ tour,” Ashanti said. “The energy, the fans, the memories — it’s always so amazing. I can’t wait to Rock with you all. Australia and New Zealand get ready… we’re going to have a blast together!”

Since her breakout, Ashanti has released six studio albums, earned a GRAMMY Award alongside multiple Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, Soul Train Awards and ASCAP honours, while cementing herself as one of R&B’s enduring icons.

Her catalogue remains stacked with era-defining hits: the aching vulnerability of ‘Foolish’, the euphoric groove of ‘Rock Wit U (Awww Baby)’, and the darker, club-ready edge of ‘Only U’. Beyond her solo success, Ashanti’s collaborations with Ja Rule, Fat Joe and Fabolous became staples of the 2000s, helping shape the golden age of hip-hop and R&B crossover.

With more than 30 million albums sold worldwide, Ashanti’s creative reach has also extended into film and television, starring alongside the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Sharon Stone and Susan Sarandon. Away from the spotlight, she has remained an advocate for youth initiatives and community programs across the United States, continuing to pair artistry with purpose throughout her career. In 2022, she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

For longtime fans and a new generation rediscovering Y2K-era R&B, Ashanti’s return promises a night steeped in nostalgia, slick vocals, and the kind of infectious energy that made her one of the defining voices of the decade.
