Alex G has been benchmarked as one of the best in the business. The Pennsylvanian bedroom pop artist born Alex Giannascoli has built a catalogue of acclaimed albums including his most recent, Headlights. Out now via RCA Records, the major label debut has seen Alex G receive widespread critical acclaim, highlighting his surreal storytelling and genre-defying sound. With singles ‘Afterlife’, ‘June Guitar’ and ‘Oranges’ leading the charge, the album tracks will be a standout in his special Australian performances.

From Bandcamp lo-fi uploads to Beach Music, Rocket, House of Sugar, and God Save the Animals, the past decade has been a powerful statement of songwriting brilliances. His indie music influence in the song crafting realm has drawn parallels to the likes of Elliot Smith, Neil Young, and Lucinda Williams. Outside of commercial albums, Alex G has scored films, and collaborated with artists including Frank Ocean, and Halsey.

Joining Alex G for both headline shows will be special guest Esha Tewari. Since emerging onto the scene, Esha has built a reputation for her captivating live performances and ability to connect deeply with her audiences. Her sound is both intimate and expansive, and with sold-out shows across Australia and North America, support slots with acclaimed acts and a rapidly growing fanbase, Esha Tewari is quickly establishing herself as one of the most exciting young artists in Australia’s new wave of pop storytellers.

Don’t miss Alex G this February – a must-see performance for fans old and new, showcasing one of indie music’s most compelling and captivating voices.
