Hold onto your hats and your singing voices because this July, the Great Australian Songbook Live will hit stages across the country, delivering a night of pure Aussie nostalgia, energy, and the music that defines us. Featuring legendary talent like Christine Anu, Kav Temperley, Shannon Noll, and Isabella Manfredi, this concert brings new interpretations of Australia’s favourite songs. Backed by a world-class band led by Ben Fletcher as Musical Director, these iconic artists will perform fresh takes on the hits that have shaped Australia’s musical identity.
The Great Australian Songbook Live tour kicks off on Thursday, July 16 at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle, NSW, and travels to Saturday, July 18 at Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, QLD, followed by Sunday, July 19 at The Star on the Gold Coast. The tour will stop at the Thursday, July 23 performance at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, NSW, before reaching Saturday, July 25 at Costa Hall in Geelong, VIC. Melbourne will get its turn on Sunday, July 26 at the Palais Theatre. The final leg of the tour includes Wednesday, July 29 at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in SA and Friday, July 31 at Crown Theatre in Perth, WA.

The Great Australian Songbook Live showcases the songs that have become an integral part of our lives, often acting as the backdrop to our most treasured memories. These timeless classics continue to resonate with Australians, and their enduring legacy proves why they remain a vital part of our musical culture.
Christine Anu is a true icon in the Australian music scene, with a career spanning nearly 30 years across music, film, theatre, and radio. Best known for her ARIA Award-winning My Island Home and platinum-selling album Stylin’ Up, Christine has earned 17 ARIA nominations. Her unforgettable performances, including her role in the Sydney 2000 Olympics Closing Ceremony, have solidified her as one of the country’s most celebrated artists. With appearances in films like Moulin Rouge, The Matrix Reloaded, Rent, and Little Shop of Horrors, Christine is a proud Torres Strait Islander woman who advocates for unity and representation. She continues to captivate audiences with her new music and collaborations with emerging artists.
Kav Temperley is an Australian rock singer-songwriter and bassist, best known as the frontman and co-founder of the legendary band Eskimo Joe. Since the band’s formation in Fremantle in 1997, Eskimo Joe has released seven studio albums, achieved multi-platinum sales, and amassed a staggering eight ARIA Awards, 15 WAMI Awards, two APRA Awards, and three International Songwriting Competition Awards. Their breakthrough hit, Black Fingernails, Red Wine, spent 62 weeks in the ARIA Top 50 and continues to enjoy high rotation 20 years later. Kav’s impressive songwriting includes hits like From the Sea and Foreign Land, both of which won APRA Song of the Year Awards. Alongside his work with Eskimo Joe, Kav has toured extensively in Australia, the US, and Europe, and has appeared at major events such as Splendour in the Grass and the AFL Grand Final. As a solo artist, he’s released two albums, All Your Devotion (2019) and Machines of Love and Grace (2022), while continuing to develop new material.
Shannon Noll, one of Australia’s most beloved performers, has spent two decades in the spotlight, producing multiple chart-topping hits and platinum albums. With a reputation for his down-to-earth personality and his appearances on popular Australian reality TV shows, Noll has become a household name. His larger-than-life presence on stage and his incredible live performances have earned him the status of a true Aussie icon.
Isabella Manfredi rose to fame as the lead singer of The Preatures, a band known for their energetic and captivating live shows. Her distinct performance style and powerful vocals quickly earned her a reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting performers. With numerous ARIA nominations, critical acclaim, and international tours under her belt, Isabella has established herself as a strong advocate for the Australian music scene. In addition to her work with The Preatures, she released her acclaimed solo album izzi, produced the score for the HULU film Plan B, and recently reunited with her band to celebrate their iconic debut album. Isabella’s unique charisma and artistic influence continue to make her one of the most respected voices in Australian rock music.
