Leading the charge are Canadian jazz cosmonauts BADBADNOTGOOD, returning to the Sup’ a decade after their last mind-altering appearance. Alexander Sowinski, Chester Hansen and Leland Whitty arrive with an expanded ensemble, prepared to launch audiences into psychedelic instrumental hyperspace. Their genre-leaping style—spanning jazz, hip hop, prog and kaleidoscopic fusion—has long attracted iconic collaborators including Frank Ocean, Tyler, MF DOOM, Arthur Verocai and Kendrick Lamar.

Balancing the cosmic with local firepower, Frankston favourites The Gnomes join the bill. Emerging from the legendary Singing Bird scene, the quartet has been turning heads with a debut LP packed with chiming guitars, soaring harmonies and a garage-pop spark that has rapidly carved out their place in Melbourne’s music landscape.

Devaura, Aotearoa-born and Eora-based, brings a high-voltage fusion of dance-rap, punk, pop and gqom. Her candid, explosive storytelling explores resilience, transformation and the chaos of self-reinvention. Following her Kamikaze breakout, her debut EP continues to build a devoted and fervent audience.

Also announced is Way Dynamic, the ever-evolving project led by songwriter Dylan Young. Fresh from releasing Massive Shoe, the group leans into minimalist folk-pop, art rock and baroque pop with meticulous craft—work that has even caught the ear of Elton John.

Completing the set are electronic shapeshifters Hybrid Man. Julien Huynh and Will Holden blend IDM, trance, dubby house and ambient textures into soundscapes that feel simultaneously terrestrial and interstellar. Releases such as Dust and Liquid and Overgrown Echos highlight their world-building approach to electronic music.

Golden Plains remains a rare celestial convergence: two days and two nights where time stretches, connections deepen and the Supernatural Amphitheatre works its decades-long magic. Sunsets, dancefloors, unexpected conversations and transformative performances continue to define its legacy.

Another unforgettable long weekend is on the horizon, with full details available through official festival channels.
