BC’s Hot Summer Nights is rolling into the Barwon Club Hotel on Saturday 10 January 2026 for a free full-venue party — but tickets will be strictly limited. Melbourne’s hardest-working pub band Willie J 6v 6s are set to blow the roof off the bandroom with their high-energy, gritty Oz-rock chaos, while Scarnon fire up the stage and Chunky Love keeps the wheels turning on the decks before, during and after. Expect hot riffs, cold froffies and nothing but loud, sweaty, heart-thumping pub-rock glory.

Summer Slam ’26 returns to the Barwon Club on Saturday 17 January, delivering a Half Venue / Full Send takeover across the Bandroom and The Barn. After swearing they’d never do another, Priority Bookings is back with the biggest edition yet. Expect bands all day, booze all day and nonstop summer chaos at one of the region’s most anticipated annual parties. Last year saw Vintage Crop, Straight Arrows and O.R.B battle for Surf Coast supremacy—this year, The Vasco Era, Alien Nosejob, Tee Vee Repairmann, Dragnet and more descend on the BC for a full-throttle feast of live music and mayhem.

Sargent Baker – ‘Loose Ends’ Album Launch

Sargent Baker return to The BC on Saturday 24 January 2026 for the hometown launch of their new album Loose Ends. The Surf Coast garage rock four-piece—Zach Brady, Robert Voss, Lachie Thomas and Yuji Fergusson—have grown fast since forming in 2022, carving out a place in the local scene with raw, roots-driven Australian rock. Joining them are Melbourne heavy hitters Romcom, local favourites Mt Pleasant, and the debut performance of new outfit Crossroads. Portal Gun touch down at the BC Bandroom on Friday 30 January 2026 to celebrate the release of their new single ‘Speak to Space’. The track signals a bold sonic shift as the trio gear up for their psychedelic, space-themed third album. Known for blending groove-driven rhythms with thoughtful, cosmic themes, Portal Gun continue to evolve following their 2024 sophomore album Elevation Station and standout festival sets at Loch Hart and Goomfest in 2025. CB Ghost

CB Ghost hits The Barwon Club on Saturday 31 January 2026 as part of the One Wave at a Time Tour, bringing his full 5-piece band and a wave of honest, folk-pop-rock energy. Hailing from a small East Coast surf town, CB Ghost blends violin-led melodies, soaring vocals, and big singalong moments for a sound that lands somewhere between Oasis, Jack Johnson and Chris Cornell.
