Descending on Geelong are nine bands, ready to rip faces off with their murderous metal. Headlining the savage show is Damnations Days, playing their first show in 5 years. The thrash/power metalheads are heroes in the Geelong live music scene, growing up in the glory days of heavy music in the region and reigning since their 2012 Invisible, the Dead release.
They are joined by Beanflipper in the bands first show back in Victoria, Western Australia’s Ashen who are currently touring the nation, Queensland’s Diskust, and New South Wales’ electro-prog, industrial party, can’t-be-categorised creatures, Trancestate. Munitions, Treebeard, Slime Dimension and Yikes make up the rest of the savage sonic showdown.

To celebrate the epic return of the riotous festival, the Barwon Club will be slinging special drinks including the signature Drencher – a blue concoction ready to rip your socks off, the Slime Dimension Slammer – the deserving winner of the ‘name this shot’ competition and the classic cocktail of choice – particularly popular with metalheads – Espresso Martini! It’s bound to keep the energy levels high to keep the mosh pit moving!
It’s the ideal recipe for the ripper night. Bring a spare shirt – you’re about to get DRENCHED!
Ticket are still available (JUST!) for this epic event. Head to the Barwon Club website, or directly collect them via Oztix here.
