Fancy Ways to Eat Your Kiwis

Zespri SunGold Kiwifruit Toast

Serves 2

Ingredients
-2 thick slices fruit and nut bread, toasted
-2 tsp butter
-4 tbsp cream cheese
-2 Zespri SunGold Kiwifruit, peeled and sliced thickly
-2 tbsp honey

Directions

1. Spread hot toast with butter, followed by cream cheese
2. Top with Zespri SunGold Kiwifruit slices. Drizzle over honey
3. Serve immediately

Bruschetta-with-ZESPRI-SunGold-Kiwifruit-and-Avocado-Salsa

Bruschetta with Zespri SunGold Kiwifruit and Avocado Salsa

Serves 1

Ingredients:

– Sliced sourdough or rustic bread
– Extra virgin olive oil
– Peeled garlic cloves, cut in half
– 2 Zespri SunGold Kiwifruit, finely diced
– 2 ripe avocado, diced
– 2 de-seeded and finely chopped red chillies
– 2tsp chopped fresh coriander
– 4 tomatoes deskinned, deseeded and diced
– 2 tbsp Thai fish sauce
– Pinch salt
– Zest & juice 1 lime

Preparation:

Place all ingredients in a bowl, mix well and leave at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to let the flavours develop. Char-grill bread, brush with olive oil and rub garlic over surface.
