Foot-In-The-Door competition is now open to play Queenscliff Music Festival

The Amplify Queenscliff Youth Program returns for this years three day festival.

Are you an artist aged 12 to 25 years? Do you play original rock or folk music? Are you ready to share your talents with the crowds at Queenscliff Music Festival?

Do we have the opportunity for you!

Returning for another year, Amplify Queenscliff have teamed up with Queenscliff Music Festival to deliver the Foot-In-The-Door competition, giving emerging artists performance opportunities like no other.

The former FReeZA program, Amplify is a funded program dedicated to emerging talent that is totally delivered by young people under the Foot In The Door program. 2025 will see the delivery of two genre based competitions for Rock and Folk & Blues with five artists competing in each category for the grand prize 15 minute set at this years Queenscliff Music Festival event.

The rock category will take to the stage on Friday 28 November. The category is not open to metal, emo, hardcore, and other genres that don’t fit into the ‘Queenscliff Music Festival style’, however it can include hip-hop, whilst the Folk and Blues winner will play on the Saturday 29 November. For acts that may fit into the genres of folk, blues, world, jazz, pop, singer/songwriter types. Bands and solo artists can fit into this section. Originality and a little ‘something different’ will go a long way in this section. All artists within the band must be between the age of 12 to 25 to be eligible.

Applicants must have their music uploaded to a digital platform to enter.
