Here Comes The Sun is officially returning in 2026, announcing its most ambitious chapter yet with a major new partnership alongside the World Surf League (WSL). Cementing its reputation as one of Australia’s most progressive and culturally tuned music festivals, the beloved coastal event will present three large-scale festival shows in tandem with the WSL’s Australian Championship Tour events.
The 2026 run kicks off in Victoria, with Here Comes The Sun landing at Torquay Common on Saturday 4 April, coinciding with the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach weekend. From there, the festival returns to its spiritual home in Western Australia at 3 Oceans, Margaret River on Saturday 25 April, before wrapping up at Queen Elizabeth Park on the Gold Coast on Saturday 2 May.

The partnership feels like a natural evolution for a festival long synonymous with surf culture. After years of alignment with the Margaret River Pro and a successful east coast expansion to Torquay in 2024, the WSL collaboration signals a new era — one that fuses world-class surfing with an impeccably curated all-Australian music lineup.
Headlining the 2026 edition is Sydney sibling duo Lime Cordiale, bringing their sun-soaked pop anthems and festival-tested energy to all dates. They’re joined by indie heavyweights The Jungle Giants, whose euphoric live shows have made them staples of Australia’s festival circuit, alongside the unstoppable Young Franco, Sycco, Eliza & The Delusionals, and rising pop force Mariae Cassandra, with more artists still to be announced.
WSL APAC President Andrew Stark described the partnership as a perfect fit, noting the shared DNA between surfing and music culture, while festival director Ross Macpherson said the collaboration reflects WSL’s growing commitment to music-led experiences at iconic coastal events.
Beyond the music, Here Comes The Sun will continue to prioritise comfort, safety and space, alongside a thoughtful selection of food, drink and artisan vendors — ensuring the festival experience remains as relaxed as it is electric.
With the WSL partnership now in full effect, the future of Here Comes The Sun has never looked brighter.
