Two giants of punk-infused power-pop are teaming up once again. This March, LA cult favourites Redd Kross will reunite with Aussie icons The Hard-Ons, fronted by the ever-charismatic Tim Rogers, for a blistering run of Australian dates celebrating decades of high-voltage rock brilliance.

Marking 45 years of dayglo hooks, fuzzed-out riffs and irresistible choruses, Redd Kross are returning to Australia with new music and renewed fire. The Hard-Ons, fresh from their own milestone 40-year celebrations and a string of acclaimed releases, make the perfect sonic partners — a pairing built on history, adrenaline and a shared disregard for genre boundaries.
The two bands first crossed paths as labelmates back in the late ’80s on US Big Time Records, but their musical connection runs deeper. Both launched as teenagers tearing through their respective punk scenes — Redd Kross in late-’70s LA, The Hard-Ons in early-’80s Sydney — and both famously coloured outside the punk lines, blending ’60s pop sparkle with the glam and grit of ’70s hard rock. Their hybrid sound helped define a generation of alternative rock fans and ignite a cult following that endures today.
That legacy even ties into Tim Rogers’ own history: a young You Am I shared stages with Redd Kross during their 1994 Australian tour with the Hoodoo Gurus, forging a musical friendship that continues decades later.
With a new wave of acclaim following Redd Kross’ self-titled double LP and documentary, and The Hard-Ons’ ongoing run of Top 40 albums, the timing couldn’t be better for this powerhouse reunion.
The 2026 Australian Tour will hit venues across Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT and Victoria, lighting up stages with the kind of loud, melodic, joyously chaotic rock’n’roll only these two pioneering bands can deliver.
Tickets are on sale now — and if history is anything to go by, these shows will be unmissable. More information can be found here.
