WIN: Geelong’s newest hangover cure Peary is up for grabs

If you’re anything like us, the sunny days and warm weather have coaxed you out of the house, drawn you to one of Geelong’s variety of drinking holes and delivered a welcome, cold beverage into your hands.

It’s summer! The perfect time to get together with friends and catch up over a beer, but perhaps the idea of a next-day hangover has you putting off plans.

Luckily, Geelong local Ben Stanczyk has a delicious solution, with his new cure ‘Peary’ leaving hangovers as a thing of the past.

How to use Peary:

• It’s best when chilled, so keeping a few in the fridge is key.
• Drink Peary just before your first drink of the night (this is in contrast to some other products that are meant to be consumed right before bed, when you may or may not have the best memory!)
• Let Peary do it’s thing and wake up feeling refreshed!

Ben’s research led him to Korean pears; a fruit which contains unique enzymes; alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) and aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH)and natural hydration properties that offer a true solution, to support your body before you start drinking.

These two enzymes not only help metabolise alcohol, but reduce the concentration of acetaldehyde in your blood which causes hangovers.

Ben went on to conceptualise Peary and spent countless hours sourcing a manufacturer in South Korea with access to high quality Korean pears.

Since then Peary has been launched online and is currently available at Vallis IGA in Geelong, with plans to expand further.

Ben welcomed stockist opportunities with any bars, restaurants and grocers local to Geelong.
