Keep up to date with what is happening in and around regional Victoria here.

The Eat Drink component of the day celebrates the region’s rich food and drink scene from cult-status restaurants to boutique wineries, small-batch cheesemakers, brewers, distillers and more. Running from 11am until 5pm, you’ll be full to the brim.

The epicurean indulgence includes restaurant representation from Messmates (Warragul), Sodafish (Lakes Entrance), Hogget Kitchen (Warragul), Tinamba Hotel, Mahob at Moos, and Trulli (Meeniyan).

To complement the indulgent food lineup, festival-goers will also be able to sip and savour a curated selection of Gippsland’s finest drinks. Leading winemakers Fleet, William Downie, Dirty Three, Patrick Sullivan, Xavier Wine, and Lightfoot Wines will pour their signature drops, while craft heroes Gurneys Cider, Loch Distillery, and Sailors Grave Brewing will add a spirited twist. Local dairy champions Gippsland Jersey, Prom Country Cheese, and Loch Cheese Merchant will bring the lactose to the table, and food conversations will be led by food and wine writer and restaurant critic Kara Monssen, and acclaimed wine writer Max Allen.

The Play component kicks off from 6pm and is a delicious dose of ear-dessert. Experience live music from local legend Steph Strings, followed by the powerhouse Emma Donovan performing ‘Take Me To The River’, and top off the evening with the high-energy Melbourne Ska Orchestra.
