Wonder Mountain takes over Tanswell Hotel Beechworth this September

From the team behind Strawberry Fields, Wonder Mountain 2024 is set to alight Beechworth's 150 year old grand pub.

In the same spot where Australian outlaw Ned Kelly once drank liquid gold, Australia’s finest music artists will take over the Tanswell Hotel for a festival of music and wonder.

Wonder Mountain 2024 is set to pack a punch over the weekend of Friday 6 September until Sunday 8 September with a stellar lineup of emerging and acclaimed talent taking to four stages in the iconic pub. Get your cowboy hats and double denim ready!

Wonder Mountain features performances from alt-folk musician Al Speers, who creates musical magic on Wurundjeri Land in Naarm, as joined by their band, Melbourne’s Afro-synth duo Wrong Way Up, Squid Nebula as led by the soulful vocals of Noongar musician Bumby, Naarm five-piece garage/punk rockers Sandy Dish, Naarm’s Quality Used Cars and party starter DJ Earl Grey. A Forte-favourite Immy Owusu will also be jumping up slinging their Afrodelik soundscapes, and hip-hop, neo-soul and R&B lass Miss Kaninna brings trailblazing single ‘Blak Britney’ to the stage.

The lineup further boasts Chef Chung, Cool Sounds, Delivery, Dr Sure’s Unusual Practice, Dunc, Ed Kent, Hog, Issabella Fortuna, Jnett, Julian Joseph & Horatio Luna, Love Above Records, Mandange Groove, Milo Eastwood and Surprise Chef.

The Disco Saloon is going Y2K cowboy this year and will have cowboy boots kicking with Country Club Boot Scooting providing some much needed line dancing to your favourite early noughties jams. With hay bails of straw stacked up around the stages, The Tanswell will be truly transformed for the festivities.
